Training after the initial D.U. is part of the College of Practitioners of Postural Reconstruction ®. The College has rigorous eligibility criteria for it's administartive structure.

The International College of Practitioners of Postural Reconstruction ® was founded in October 1995.
Its goals :

  • To ensure the sustainability of the teaching of initial training.
  • To train practitioners worldwide to a high level of competence with common work and professional ethics.
  • To provide reference and security for patients and the medical profession.
  • To have a team capable of participating in multicentre scientific studies as well as advancing Postural Reconstruction ®

To do this, the College of Practitioners of Postural Reconstruction ® offers :

A series of seminars under the direction of Michael Nisand (founder of the Postural Reconstruction ®). These seminar's aim is to update the knowledge of practitioners and graduates and provide an opportunity for additional training for practitioners in the course of initial studies. These courses provide homogeneity in terms of concepts and therapeutic techniques. Each seminar is held over two days and is mainly oriented toward practise. The number of participants is limited to twelve per teacher.

The location of the seminar is decided by each National College. The evening before the commencement of each seminar is devoted to annual recertification: Given the difficulty inherent in the method and the responsibility of therapists to their patients, each reconstructer once completed his initial course and wishing to join the College complete a practical exam. Success in this annual examis important for continued study.
